Laborie's Cake Orders

Please use the form below to place your cake order request. We will follow up with you after placing the order to finalize the details. Payment will be made at the store when you pick up your order.

Please call (504) 349-9075 or stop by 1951 Barataria Blvd. to place an order for a cutout cake, cupcake cake, or a signature cake.

A Cutout Cake is a design shaped cake (anything like a 3-0 or a football etc.)

A Cupcake Cake is a number of individual cupcakes that can be put together to form a design like a dinosaur or a Christmas tree.

A Signature Cake is anything that may need fondant or detailed artwork.

¼ Layer Cake feeds up to 18 people
½ Layer Cake feeds up to 36 people
Full sheet cake feeds up to 64 people
8in round cake feeds 8 people

Please allow 48 hours notice for orders.

NO Cake orders July 16 - 25.

Please allow 24 to 48 hours notice for orders.

Orders over $30 need to be paid for at least 24 hours BEFORE we start the order.

About Laborie's

In the early 1940’s, the Laborie family opened a small grocery store in their family home in Estelle. Six of their seven sons enlisted to serve during World War II, so Louis and Josephine Laborie converted their sons’ bedrooms into the grocery store. At that time, the store had the only telephone in the neighborhood, which was available for customers’ use.

When the sons returned from war, the store closed. In 1974, Eldred and Wanda Laborie saw a need for a store in their neighborhood and opened a small convenience store on the corner of Ames and Barataria. The business grew to a larger store on the corner in 1977.

Over the years the business grew and went through transformations and now is returning to its original name of LABORIE’S.
